THE ADELPHI HOTEL IS A SCOOP PARTNER
This week, I had the pleasure of sitting with Tim Everhardt, Bar Manager at the Adelphi Hotel. He showed me how to make The Adelphi’s spin on a classic cocktail, The “Flip”. He then showed me two variations. What I enjoyed most about chatting with Tim is how much pride he takes in his work. The two variations, “One If By Land” and “Two If By Sea” pay homage to Paul Revere’s ride. He even goes so far as to create the one or two decorative flames on each corresponding drink, symbolizing how the British were going to attack. So next time you’re at the Morrissey’s bar, please take a moment to appreciate the thought and creativity that goes into their cocktail menu, and their work.
